Importing prior support:

Importing prior support allows you to bring forward your support from any prior month reconciliation that you select.

This can be helpful when reconciling accounts that generally remain stagnant, or have schedules that you can add transactions to over time (eg loans or prepayments).

Follow these steps to import a prior month's support:

From within your selected reconciliation page, press the "Import Previous Support" button.

Select the month that you want to import your support from. This will import all supporting lines from the selected month, including attachments and transactions (where applicable).

If you have added support before importing prior support, it will still import prior support as normal. If, however, you have reconciled transactions that were found in a prior month supporting item, these transactions will not be pulled through to this supporting item, as they are already categorised as reconciled.
